The 1MS160D-4A-A1/S010 model is designed according to the latest motion control technology offered by Bosch Rexroth. The model is a stator or 1MB frameless motor that can be used as a direct drive in motor spindles. The 1MS stator is designed to be operated by the controller specified by the supplier and it can also be operated inconjunction with the third-party drive controllers. The stator winding is equipped with two NTC and PTC resistors. The model (1MS160D-4A-A1/S010) uses a 1.5 m electrical cable with a bigger exterior diameter to make an electrical connection with a 171 V power source. The rotor attached to this stator is capable to rotate at the maximum speed of 12000 rpm. The component comes with a liquid cooling system in which an aluminum cooling jacket is attached to the 1MS stator to maintain the overall temperature of the system. Most of the heat dissipation is carried out in the stator and it undergoes 1.8 kW of rated power. The stator comes with 2 pole pairs.

The model 1MS160D-4A-A1/S010 is developed to produce the continuous torque of 32 Nm in the attached rotor by consuming the constant power of 48 A, at the speed of 3000 rpm. The stator winding generates 0.182 Ohms of resistance and 0.72 Nm/A of constant torque while operating at the rated temperature of 20 degree Celsius. The stator has an IP00 protection category and it must be operated carefully under prescribed environmental conditions. As per instructions, the rated temperature range for this stator is 0 to +40 degree Celsius and can be installed at the maximum height of 1000 MSL.
