Because the component is supplied as a frameless insert, it becomes the electromagnetic core of a high-speed spindle when combined with a compatible rotor and bearing stack. Within an automation cell, it generates the torque-producing magnetic field that lets machine tools or test rigs accelerate shafts quickly.

The stator uses liquid cooling to remove Joule losses directly at the windings; coolant passes through an external jacket so the housing temperature stays stable even at elevated continuous currents. Its electromagnetic geometry follows frame size 310, which sets an outside diameter that aligns with large tool spindles and permits wider lamination stacks. Axial length follows motor length code B, resulting in a moderate active stack that balances thermal capacity and moment of inertia.
