The 1MS200H-4D-A2 is a frameless stator intended for installation inside a machine-tool spindle housing. It generates the electromagnetic field that drives the mating rotor at high peripheral speeds, making it suitable for milling and grinding spindles that require compact motor integration. Because the stator is built without a conventional outer motor housing, the spindle shaft can be supported directly on high-precision bearings while keeping the overall assembly compact. This layout lets machine builders integrate the motor directly around the spindle cartridge, which can reduce separate mounting parts and preserve spindle stiffness.

Its integral connection harness uses a 1.5 m loom that exits through the stator end, allowing power and sensor lines to be routed without an external junction box. Heat from the windings is removed by liquid cooling, and the coolant path is reinforced by an aluminum cooling jacket bonded to the lamination stack. This arrangement supports sustained operation under high load while helping keep winding temperature within insulation limits. The direct cable exit also helps in tight spindle cavities where clearance around the outside diameter is limited. The stator uses frame size 200, so it can seat directly in matched motor or spindle cartridges with the same bore.

Electrical behavior is set by winding variant 4D, which suits applications that need high current density with moderate voltage. The active stack follows length code H, giving the stator a longer axial section for increased torque without increasing diameter. Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, the unit is part of the 1MB High-Speed Asynchronous Motors series and is intended to pair with standard rotors, temperature sensors, and liquid-coolant unions used on that platform. Because the stator remains frameless, the surrounding spindle housing provides the structural support while the magnetic core is integrated directly into the machine assembly.
