It forms the stationary section of a frameless spindle motor and creates the rotating magnetic field that drives a separately supplied rotor. Because the rotor is installed independently, the module is intended for integration into the machine housing rather than use as a complete standalone motor. The frameless layout also leaves the surrounding spindle structure free to carry the bearing system and the machine-specific shaft assembly. This arrangement helps shorten the powertrain, reduce rotating inertia, and support the high spindle speeds used in machining centers, grinding machines, and automated drilling systems.

The stator housing incorporates an aluminum cooling jacket that channels coolant around the active laminations for rapid heat removal. Phase conductors exit through a pre-terminated 1.5 m loom, and this harness is routed through the stator end so cabling stays inside the spindle envelope and clear of external moving parts. Dimensional alignment with existing machine frames is set by frame size 200, which establishes the outside diameter and bolt circle used on this platform. Additional axial iron length, identified as motor length H, increases continuous torque capacity while preserving the same radial footprint.

Temperature stability during full-load cycles depends on liquid cooling, which removes heat effectively in a high-speed spindle assembly. Magnetic characteristics are tuned by winding variant 4B, a coil arrangement with resistance, inductance, and back-EMF values matched to compatible Rexroth inverters. Delivered as a stator for a 1MB frameless spindle motor, the module mates with standardized rotor cores, sensor rings, and bearing cartridges. OEMs can pair it with rotor and bearing combinations that match the required spindle format without changing the stator seat.
