The 1MS160F-4D-A1 is a motor stator. It is manufactured by Bosch for 1MB spindle motors. The stator is liquid cooled and is fitted with an aluminium cooling jacket. The rated power loss is 3 kilowatts, the required rate of coolant flow is 4.3 liters per minute and the volume of the liquid cooling duct is 0.5 liters. The coolant absorbs the stator heat loss and majority of the rotor heat loss. The electrical connection is through a cable that connects to the stator side with larger output diameter.
