The Rexroth 1MB Frameless Spindle Motors are used as direct drives in motor spindles. They are highly versatile motors used in different fields such as transfer lines, turning, mining, and grinding in machine tools, processing centers, and special purpose machines. The 1MB frameless spindle motor comprises a stator and a rotor, with the stator being the stationary part of the motor.
The 1MS160B-4A-A2 is a stator for the 1MB frameless spindle motor with a frame size of 160 and a frame size C.. The stator is made up of a laminated core with end windings located on the front and a cooling jacket. Most of the heat dissipation in the motor is in this stator, and it is equipped with an aluminum cooling jacket that helps it perform this function. The motor heat is transferred to the coolant effectively and quickly via the stator cooling jacket around which the fluid flows.
The electrical connection of the 1MS160B-4A-A2 is provided by a 1.5 m long loom of cables conducted through the end with a small diameter. It is enveloped by a protective hose and consists of three power wires. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and set up at a maximum elevation height of 1000m above sea level.
