The 1MS140F-4A-A1 is a stator element supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the 1MB High-Speed Asynchronous Motors series. As the stationary portion of a frameless spindle motor assembly, it forms the electromagnetic core that works with a separately supplied rotor to generate high-speed rotation in machine-tool spindles and other precision automation axes. Integrating the stator into a coolant circuit supports continuous power delivery while keeping the housing compact for tight installation spaces in CNC machining centers and automated production cells. Because the stator is frameless, it is intended to be installed directly into the machine structure rather than housed in a conventional motor body.
The stator uses liquid cooling, so heat is removed through an internal fluid channel instead of relying on ambient airflow. Thermal transfer is reinforced by an integrated aluminum cooling jacket, whose high conductivity helps limit winding temperature rise during sustained load. The unit has a frame size 140, which sets the outside diameter and the compatible housing bore for the spindle cartridge. It also has a motor length code F, which provides the active stack height for continuous torque production. The selected winding variant 4A sets the resistance, inductance, and nominal voltage values used with the matching inverter.
The electrical interface uses a 1.5 m loom that exits through the stator end, giving enough reach to a terminal box or drive connector without an extension lead. As a stator for 1MB frameless spindle motor assemblies, it fits with the matching rotor sleeve and clamp ring supplied with the kit. The loom is terminated by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, which helps preserve insulation integrity along the cable during installation. This cable arrangement also helps routing where the spindle cartridge leaves limited space around the housing. When installed within the 1MB High-Speed Asynchronous Motors platform, the stator works with the corresponding rotor to produce high-speed spindle rotation.
