The liquid-cooled motors are used mainly as direct drives in motor spindles and for operations such as milling, turning, and grinding in machinery like machine tools, processing centers, transfer lines, and special-purpose machines. They also have high speeds and run smoothly, making them ideal for thread cutting and spindle positioning.

The 1MR376B-B225 is a model of the 1MR rotor series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a component of a 1MB frameless spindle motor, whose frame size is 376 and frame length is B. The rotor’s parts include a sleeve and a laminated core with balancing rings in front. It is connected to the motor spindle by a step interference fit, and the graduated fitting surfaces of the spindle align these two parts of the motor. The fitting surfaces are closely arranged and ensure the safe dismounting of the rotor when required.

Most of the cooling of the 1MR376B-B225 is via heat transfer to the liquid-cooled stator of the motor through an air gap.
