Typical applications for 1MB motors include milling and grinding in machine tools, transfer lines and special-purpose machines. 1MB motors are used in combination with a main spindle control device. The liquid cooled stator gives 1MB motors a high power density. 1MB motors should not be used if they are operated under non-approved ambient conditions, or if Bosch has not specifically released the motors for that intended purpose.
