The 1MR243F-B102 rotor is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for integration in the 1MB High-Speed Asynchronous Motors series. As a dedicated rotor component for frameless spindle assemblies, it forms the rotating element. It couples to a stator to generate torque and speed in high-precision machine-tool spindles and other industrial automation axes.

When in operation, the rotor is intended for drives operated in Converter Mode, so its electrical excitation is supplied exclusively by a variable-frequency inverter rather than the mains. The mechanical design follows the Kit Spindle Motor concept, meaning the active parts are delivered without a housing for direct embedding into the machine frame. Because the assembly carries an IP00 rating, an external enclosure and airflow management must be provided. Its electromagnetic behavior follows the Asynchronous motor principle, relying on induced current in the squirrel-cage conductors to develop torque.
