The 1MR160B-A060 rotor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the 1MB High-Speed Asynchronous Motors series. Designed as the rotating element of a frameless spindle motor kit, this component couples directly to a machine shaft and supports high-speed machining spindles in industrial automation centers. By providing the magnetic core that interacts with the stator’s electromagnetic field, it converts drive current into mechanical torque for precision milling, drilling, and grinding operations. Because it is supplied as a rotor rather than a complete housed motor, it is intended for installation inside a spindle assembly that provides the surrounding mechanical support. This layout lets the spindle builder choose the bearing system, housing, and sealing arrangement around the active rotor body.
This B-length rotor follows the series 160 frame geometry and features a bore diameter of 60.0 mm, allowing it to slide onto a matching shaft with a step interference fit for secure transmission of high circumferential forces.
