Product Description:

The KM4602 Bus Terminal is made up of cemented carbide optimized for its high-performance application. This unit is in ISO ranges of P25–P35 and K20–K30. It has versatility on a wide range of materials and applications. The CVD multi-layer coating of this model enhances wear resistance under any conditions.

With a hardness estimate of 1450 HV, the KM4602 delivers hard abrasion-resistance toughness, and shall be capable of cutting precisely for extended periods. It is specified for medium toughness, delivering a compromise between hardness and impact, and shall find application in interrupted or continuous cutting. The terminal shall possess a temperature rating of 900°C and shall facilitate stable cutting even in a hot state. Its feed rate is 0.15 to 0.5 mm/rev according to application, offering the flexibility for finishing operations or more material removal. Its cutting speed can be varied between 120 to 280 meters per minute according to work material, offering the flexibility for maximum performance for some applications. Its terminal is also constructed of high breakage resistance, which reduces tool failure when machining in high-stress applications. It possesses a high wear resistance, enabling it to last for longer and less tool change to offer greater productivity. Increased edge stability and chip flow, an important aspect of high-speed cutting, is also provided by the CVD coating.

Dimensionally stable under either of the roughing or semi-finishing conditions, the KM4602 gives surface finish. It is an extensively proven remedy for manufacturers who want a wear terminal, abrasion-resistant that they can use with variable feed rates and velocities. Thermal stability combined with secure cutting action means the KM4602 Bus Terminal has consistent smooth operation in adverse machining conditions. Heavy-duty application is possible for the bus terminal.
