The model KM2652 is represented as a bus terminal that controls and monitors electrical loads in industrial automation by allowing manual or automatic switching. Beckhoff develops this module and it leads mechanical and electrical domains with high-precision designs.

The KM2652 bus terminal is designed for switching applications within electronic systems. It needs to be powered on the K-bus and consumes 130 mA of current. No special configuration or address input is required for the terminal during installation because setup becomes easier and faster to achieve. The terminal requires four input bits for hand mode selection auto mode activation and relay ON/OFF control and it provides two independent change-over contact outputs. The terminal operates on nominal 230 V AC power with a 1.5 kVA switching capacity limit that includes a maximum switching voltage of 250 V AC. When used for smaller loads the terminal supports minimum current loads of 100 mA at 12 V. The compact KM2652 device utilizes KL-24 polycarbonate housing to form dimensions of 24 mm width,100 mm height and 52 mm depth. It features operational feedback LEDs and follows EN 60715 standards for mounting on DIN rail by a locking mechanism.

The KM2652 bus terminal holds a double slot and key mechanism that provides secure joint mounting for two fixtures next to each other. The environmental limits for this system include successful operation from 0°C to 55°C while storage is possible from -25°C to +85°C under conditions with up to 95% relative humidity. It fulfills all European regulatory requirements for vibration safety together with shock and emission standards and EMC immunity standards while displaying CE mark compliance. It has IP20 protocols that correspond to basic electrical cabinet fitments.
