Product Description:
KM2614 is a bus terminal module. It is designed by Beckhoff for industrial automation. The main application of the module is providing connections to equipment with high current draw. The terminal can supply 16 Amps at 230 Volts AC. The module features four power relays in one compact housing. Positioning at the top allows easy relay exchange. Each relay on the module can be switched on manually. In addition, the relays support automatic operation. The nominal voltage rating for the module is 230 Volts AC and the maximum switching voltage is 250 Volts AC / 30 Volts DC. Value of the nominal switching current is 16 Amps. Load types that can be connected to the output channels include resistive, inductive and lamps. Maximum output current which the KM2614 module can deliver is 16 Amps.
The switching current is 12 Amps AC and 12 Amps DC at 30 Volts DC. For lamp tests and electronic ballasts the KM2614 module can supply maximum 25 Amps starting current. Overvoltage category of the module is III. The rated surge voltage is 2.5 kVA and the electrical isolation rating is 1.5 kilovolts. Current draw of the K-bus is 15 milliamps (typical).
