Product Description:
KM2004-0004 is a Beckhoff bus terminal module. It features 32-channel digital output. The voltage rating for each output is 24 Volts and the peak current is 0.5 Amps. Each connector on the module carries 8 channels. The compact module design reduces space requirements. It integrates into the overall I/O system and provides reliable connectivity between I/O and central control systems. Connection technology supported by the unit is plug. Load types that can be connected include lamp loads, inductive loads, and ohmic loads. Short-circuit protection is available on each output channel and the short-circuit current rating is less than 2 Amps. The breaking energy is less than 150 mJ per channel. Reverse voltage protection is also available. The electrical isolation between the K-bus and the field potential is 500 Volts.
Current consumption of the K-bus is 5 milliamps. The bit width on the process image is 32 outputs. Weight of the KM2004-0004 module is approximately 90 grams with 1-pin connectors and 110 grams with 3-pin connectors. The module’s protection rating is IP20 which means it is meant for indoor use.
