Product Description:
Beckhoff manufactures the IP4132-B510-0000 Analog output module for industrial automation applications that require reliable analog signal output and flexible connectivity. The output module supports event driven, cyclic, synchron, and polling I/O communication types, and features electrical isolation between the control voltage and fieldbus at 500 V.
With a resolution of 16 bits and a measurement error of less than ±0.1% relative to full scale, the four analog output channels of the IP4132-B510-0000 analog output module can provide signals within the voltage range of -10 to +10 V. Two signal wires and one CAN ground, connected via a shielded copper cable with a 5-pin M12 socket serving as the bus interface, are recommended for data transfer. From 10 kbaud to 1 Mbaud, the module can detect data transfer speeds automatically. The module can be configured by either the KS2000 program or a controller using a service data object configuration. The 4-pin and a-coded M8 male and female connectors allow for connection to the power source on either the feed or downstream ends. In order to power the output module, the current supply must be 45 mA plus the current that the sensors consume, which cannot exceed 0.5 A.
The control voltage of the module is 24 V DC, and it can accept an auxiliary voltage of up to 30 V DC for the supply of actuators. The IP4132-B510-0000 analog output module is rated for operation in temperatures from 0 to 55°C and storage from -25 to +85°C, with a protection rating of IP65/66/67 according to EN 60529, allowing for variable installation positions. The housing is made of PA6 polyamide, and the module dimensions are 30 mm x 175 mm x 26.5 mm. The module provides clear status indication via LEDs for fieldbus connection, power supplies, and signal states, supporting efficient diagnostics and maintenance.
