The IP3102-B510-0000 Fieldbus Box by Beckhoff gives four differential analog input channels used in industrial automation. Two signal ranges are available that are selectable: ±10 V as standard and 0 to 10 V as an optional setting. The resolution is 16-bit using the ±10 V range and 15-bit using the 0 to 10 V range. Input impedance of more than 100 kΩ and maximum common-mode voltage is 35 V.
Measurement resolution of IP3102-B510-0000 Fieldbus Box remains within ±0.3% of full-scale value and provides stable, consistent signal capture. The standard sampling time of 250 ms can be changed to as little as 5 ms for a quicker input capture. The fieldbus box provides ten types of filters for analog input processing, one of which is averaging. It provides up to 30 V DC to connected sensors from the UP load voltage. Power is provided at 24 V DC ±20%. Base current consumption is 45 mA, with a maximum total load capacity of 0.5 A, including power to sensors. The Fieldbus Box communicates using the CANopen protocol, with automatic detection of data rates from 10 kbaud to 1 Mbaud.
