Product Description:

The IP2301-B520 is a compact Digital I/O module produced by Beckhoff. The module is appropriate for use in industrial automation systems and does support communication over the DeviceNet® fieldbus environment.

The IP2301-B520 digital I/O module is equipped with a control voltage of 24 V DC and a tolerance range that extends from -15% to +20% during its operation. To ensure that the signal is stable, it has an input filter period of three milliseconds. With a maximum load current of 0.5 A per channel, it is equipped with four digital outputs and four digital inputs, each of which is rated at 24 V DC. The module employs M8 screw-type connectors and provides 500 V of electrical isolation between control voltage and fieldbus, as well as control voltage and I/O. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +55°C, while storage temperatures vary from -25°C to +85°C. With the exception of accompanying sensors, the module consumes around 45 milliamperes of electricity. According to EN 60529, the protection class rating is IP 65/66/67, which ensures strong enclosure protection. The module is in accordance with the specifications for shock resistance and vibration resistance that are EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27.

The IP2301-B520 module handles digital I/O signals with four inputs and four outputs, each running at 24 V DC. The outputs may drive loads up to 0.5 A per channel. It offers electrical isolation to promote system safety and reduce interference. It also meets EMC immunity and emission regulations EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4. The module’s vibration and shock resistance ensure steady operation under mechanical stress. It is made for varied installation positions and is ideal for use in diverse automation systems. The module’s power consumption and input filter time help to ensure efficient and consistent working.
