Product Description:
IL2302-B518 is a coupler box. It is a product of Beckhoff Automation. Features available on the box include four-channel digital input, four-channel digital output and CANopen connectivity. Input and output connections on the box are made via screw-type M12 connector. The filter on the input channel has a 3 millisecond specification. Signal voltage for the 0 signal level is 3 to 5 Volts. Signal voltage for the 1 signal level is 11 to 30 Volts with 6 milliamps input current. The power supply for the sensors is from the control voltage with maximum 0.5 Amps per channel. The load voltage rating is 24 Volts DC and the supported load types include inductive, ohmic and lamp load. The maximum output current per channel is 0.5 Amps. Each of the output circuits is short-circuit proof. The typical short-circuit current is 1.5 Amps.
The typical auxiliary power current is 20 milliamps. Special feature available on the IL2302-B518 is an IP-link coupler. The box can support up to 120 extension modules with 128 byte input/output data. It can handle 960 inputs and 960 output for the digital peripheral signals.
