IL2302-B510 is an industrial coupler box. It is part of the IL series from Beckhoff. Beckhoff fieldbus boxes offer a broad range of I/O functionality. These boxes support industrial signals, including analog and digital inputs/outputs, and thermocouple/RTD signals, as well as incremental encoder interfaces, and serial interfaces for different communication-related applications. Coupler boxes are a type of fieldbus box that can collect I/O data from extension boxes via the IP-Link, which is an optical fiber based communication interface. This coupler box can connect to 120 extension modules. It is made from polyamide material. Dimensions of the device are 30 x 175 x 26.5 millimeters. The material used for box construction is polyamide. It can be mounted in any desired position. Two fixing holes with 3.5 millimeter diameter are available. Weight of the unit is 210 grams.
Its housing provides IP65 compatible protection, which makes is dustproof and safe from water coming from low-pressure jets. For optimal performance the ambient temperature must be between 0 and 55 degrees. Unused boxes should be kept in storage where the temperature is kept between -25 and 85 degrees Celsius.
