This Beckhoff IL2302-B400-0000 Coupler Box is a versatile component for digital input/output interbus applications. This IL2302-B400-0000 Coupler Box interbus can support up to 256 I/O stations depending on the master, with a flexible number of I/O points. This device transfers data through a LiYCY cable (3 x 2 x 0.22 mm²) over a maximum distance of 400 meters between modules. With a transfer rate of 500 kBaud, it can achieve a data transfer time of about 1 ms for ten modules each with 32-bit input and output. This IL coupler box series unit features four digital inputs and four digital outputs by conforming to type 2. The inputs accept a signal range of -3 to +5 V for “0” and 11 to 30 V for “1,” with an input current of 6 mA. The device includes M12 screw-type connectors for input and output connections. It is also designed with a 3.0 ms input filter for reliable signal processing. Power is supplied via a control voltage of 24 V DC, with a load voltage tolerance of -15% to +20%.
