The IL2302-B110 is a decentralized I/O coupler box produced by Beckhoff as part of the IL Coupler Box Units series. Designed for industrial automation networks, the unit acts as the local interface between field sensors and actuators and an EtherCAT trunk. It integrates discrete inputs and outputs within an IP-rated housing so machines can extend real-time bus communication directly into cabinets, tooling fixtures, or moving assemblies while maintaining deterministic control.

The fully cast housing meets IP65/66/67, so it resists dust ingress and washdown exposure in demanding machine areas. Data is carried over 4 x 2 twisted pair Cat 5 copper, and the shielded D-coded connectors help preserve stable communication when the M12 bolts are tightened.
