The Beckhoff developed the IL2301-B528 Coupler Box that is a reliable part of industrial automation. The coupler box includes DeviceNet communication, that allows to control systems integrate easily. For many uses where a reliable connection between control and I/O systems is needed, the coupler box is a good choice. There are four input channels and four output channels on the IL2301-B528 Coupler Box. Up to 120 extension modules can be connected to the coupler box, and each can handle up to 512 bytes of input and output data. There is an M12 plug and socket with a 5-pin link on the bus interface that allows for the safe sending and receiving of data. The coupler box can automatically recognize data transfer rates up to 500 kbaud. The power source works at 24 V DC and has a tolerance range of -15% to +20%, so it works reliably. The load compatibility of the coupler box includes ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads, to make it useful in a wide range of situations. Beckhoff's coupler box is small that measures 30 mm x 210 mm x 26.5 mm.
