The Beckhoff IE3312-0000 fills the role of an analog input module from the IE Extension Box Series and is intended only for the temperature measurement of the thermocouples in a more careful way. It has four such inputs and in addition it can be functional to J, K, L, B, E, N, R, S, T, U thermocouples thermal as well as mV sensing. With a permission for further development, this module is in the standard configuration for Type K thermocouples which can measure from -100 ° C to +1370 ° C. It can produce very precise measurements within a range of 0.1 ° C as the digit per resolution and a less than ±0.5% per full scale value for the uncertainty of the measuring.

Nominal value and tolerance value of this voltage with load is 24 V DC and from -15% to +20%. This module allows you to thermocouples mounted M12 connectors 2-wire method which is proficiently secure. The conversion time is also adjustable though it covers a wide range of effectiveness with the maximum adjustment time of 250 ms and the minimum of 70ms. To improve signal processing, the module contains five configurable input filters.

An M8 male socket is the primary power supply input while an M8 female socket allows a downstream connection for easy daisy chain in extending setups. The module has a very low power consumption of 40 mA (without taking the sensor current into account) therefore it’s economical. An M8 male sockets is the male power supply input and adds Connectable end M8 female socket arrangements that helps in closure easy extensions.
