Product Description:

The IE3112 extension unit provides compact analog signal processing. The unit is compatible with conventional current signals, and it has input values that can be between 0/4 and 20 mA. It renders it easily connectible to transmitters or sensors. An internally integrated 80-ohm measuring shunt is employed to convert input current to a measurable voltage accurately. The unit is designed at a common-mode voltage of 35 V, channel-to-channel and ground difference tolerance. It improves the reliability when used in noisy electric systems.

The unit provides less than ±0.3% uncertainty in the signal, which guarantees that it delivers accurate readings required in high-accuracy applications. There are provisions to set the unit in such a way that it provides a 5 ms option, with an option of setting the response time according to their system requirements. It is most relevant for those processes that require fast but stable measurement cycles. With a nominal operating voltage of 24 volts, the module can be easily integrated into common industrial power systems without any additional converters. The internal measure shunt integrates the unit within a single cable, eliminating redundant components and associating wiring complexity as well as making installation simpler. The IE3112 can be used in a scenario where there is a need to measure and regulate analog performance, i.e., flow or pressure measurement and regulation. It is equipped with voltage ruggedness, signal precision, and programmable timing to ensure guaranteed stable performance irrespective of load variations.

Made for use with contemporary control systems, it provides stable use and simple interfacing. The combination of supported voltage and accurate management of measurement ties together to ensure stable signal capture. Use at 24 volts and addition of a built-in shunt round out a package that fosters efficiency and stability of installation.
