IE1002-0000 is an extension box from Beckhoff Automation. It acquires binary control signals from processes and sends them to higher-level automation control units. LED indicators indicate state of the signals. Signals connect to the extension box via M12 connectors. Power supply for the sensors is derived from the box supply. There are 8 digital inputs on the extension box. The M12 connectors are screw type connectors. Nominal input voltage for the extension box is 24 Volts DC. Delay for the input filter is 3 milliseconds. The low or 0 signal voltage level range is from 3 to 5 Volts. The high or 1 signal voltage level range is from 11 to 30 Volts.
