Product Description:

Beckhoff FM3312-B110-0210 represents a steady state thermocouple module, which belongs to the FM Thermocoupler Series and is able to accommodate up to 12 thermocouple channels. This module fieldbus is EtherCAT which has a maximum speed of 100 Mbit/s hence efficient for communicating data which concerns temperature in industrial monitoring systems. The analysis also indicates that temperatures between -10 and +900°C can be measured with the Type J thermocouples used in the -C610-TA-W single temperature module but with good resolution of 0. 1°C being read for every digit increasing its application value.

The FM3312-B110-0210 supports the thermocouples with a 2-wire arrangement and employs industrial plug-in type (Han24E) structures for wiring. Facilitated fieldbus connection is achieved through two M12 sockets (4 pin D coded) that incorporate EtherCAT IN and EtherCAT OUT interfaces which enable the series interconnection of several modules hence eases the wiring process for extensive applications. M8 plug (4 pin) is utilized for power supply while the module also has an M8 socket which can be used for downstream power connection thereby improving the daisy chaining for both power supply and etherCAT interconnection.

The error of measurement of the module does not exceed the value of ± 0.5 % of the full scale and is perfect for affording total reliability and accuracy when needed. Even works with a conversion time of about 250 ms, proper timing of data can also be expected while this module is in operation. It includes five variations of input filters, which can be configured by the user and can thus ensure that the particular filtering of the signal is required for the conditions and for the application in use. However, it operates on 24 V DC (the current consumption is about 120mA and maximum current consumption is about 150mA).
