Product Description:
The EPP9022-0060 is an intuitive and versatile EtherCAT P terminal box created specifically by Beckhoff for monitoring and diagnosing module voltages. Together with an EtherCAT master or other modules, this device can be used for measuring the amount of voltage deviation in a device with respect to a reference or target level. The EPP9022-0060 employs a set of status LEDs that can change colors depending on the voltage range of the voltage signal. Like other Beckhoff box modules, this device used P-coded EtherCAT plug connectors for establishing the downstream and input connections. The voltage signal, on the other hand, is propagated through the voltage measurement output port.
The EPP9022-0060 is a programmable box terminal, allowing the user to adjust the voltage levels associated with the LED displays. During operation, the values for Us, Up, Is, and Ip can also be obtained as process data from the main host or master controller. Similar to other EtherCAT modules, the P-coded plug connectors have four pins for establishing the following lines: Tx+, Rx+, Rx-, and Tx-. The TX+ is also called the GNDs, while the RX+ is also called the GNDp. On the other hand, the Rx- and Tx- pins also correspond to the Up and Us connection lines.
The EPP9022-0060 is a compact box module, having the following dimensions without plug connectors: 30 mm, 86 mm, and 22 mm. To prevent thermal strain on this box module, the operating ambient temperature must not exceed the range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius. Depending on the additional accessories used for this box module, the unit’s protection class may vary between IP 65 and IP 67. Devices with a protection class of IP 65 are protected from both moisture and small dust particles.
