Product Description:

The Beckhoff EPP4314-1002 is an EtherCAT P Box module designed for applications whose requirements are concerned with accurate measurement and control of the current. In this case, the module belongs to the EPP EtherCAT P Box Series and is equipped with two analog and two digital inputs and two outputs, and thus suitable for use in industrial automation systems.

The module provides per channel parameterization of the signal type, which ranges from – 20/0/4…+20. As for the grabber itself, it clearly makes it possible to get data with a measurement error of less than 0.3 for inputs and less than 0.1 for outputs, as it offers a whooping resolution of 16 bits. And all their parameters and characteristics fall within the limits as parameters critical to the applications which require monitoring and control in real time. It does not take a long period of time in conversion. Their input conversion time is about 100 µs and output conversion time is near 40 µs.

The EPP4314-1002 enters into the Ether Cat communication using the Ether Cat EPP on board with M8 socket or compatible m8 connectors with good shielding and P coding making it a high speed and more reliable communication mode. The unit has a nominal 24 V DC Supply with capability of input load less than 500ohms being supported whiles internal input resistance is 85 ohms. Touted to withstand extreme factory environments, the module is rated IP65, IP66 and IP67 respectively providing resistance from dust, moisture, and temperatures in the working range of -25°C to +60°C. In addition, it also comes with vibration and shock protection per EN 60068 and adheres to EMC immunity and emission standards EN 61000-6.
