Product Description:
The EPP3174-0002 is an EtherCAT P box manufactured by highly trained engineers of Beckhoff Automation to improve communication in industrial environments. This product features four analog input which can each be configured so that they process signals in the -10 to +10 volts range or the 0/4 to 20 milliampere range. The voltage or input current sent through these inputs are converted into digital signals with a resolution of 16 bits, they are then electrically isolated and transmitted to a higher-level automation device. The input channels also feature different inputs and a common internal ground potential. Operators can configure the conversion time of the input channels over a wide range. An automation light monitoring system is available on this product.
The common-mode voltage on the EPP3174-0002EtherCAT P box during operation is about 35 volts, while the typical internal resistance is greater than 200 kilo-ohms. During normal operation conditions, the input filter on this product has a limit frequency of about 5 kilohertz, there are also distributed filter clocks in the product.
