The EPP2624-0002 is an EtherCAP P box from Beckhoff Automation. This product is 100 percent EtherCAT compatible, and using EtherCAT technology, it facilitates ultra-fast communication and power in the industrial servo system. This product has four relays, each of which has a make contact that can be controlled potential-free by the PLC via EtherCAT. The relay contacts can also be operated at up to 25 volts alternating current, or 30 volts direct current. The Bus interface on this product is a 2 x M8 socket; it is P-coded and shielded from interference. The output connections of the EtherCAT P box are a screw type M12, 5-pin, and a coded connection. Permissible load types to be connected to this product are ohmic, inductive, or lamp load. Also, the minimum permitted load is about 10 microamperes at a 10 millivolt direct current.
