The EPP2339-0022 is a state-of-the-art EtherCAT P Box module designed by Beckhoff Automation, one of the leading producers of reliable automation technologies in the world. This module box supplements the EtherCAT technology by providing up to 16 separate communication channels, which maintains electrical isolation and wiring flexibility. The EPP2339-0022 belongs to the IP67 protection classification and is perfectly suited for long-term operation in areas that exposes it to dust, vibrations, and water pray. Every digital channel on the box can function as an input or output channel without any prior configuration. The channels are also 5 Pin M12 -sockets that are also resistant to harsh conditions. The EPP2339-0022 EtherCAT P box is environmentally friendly and does not product too much heat when it is in operation. It does not require any additional cooling system and can comfortably regulate its temperature via Natural convection.

The bus interface on the EPP2339-0022 Module box meets the EN 61131-2, type 1/3 specification, it is a M8 socket that require a P-coded and shielded connector. There are also 3 microsecond input filters on this product. The output of this product can process load currents of up to 0.5 amperes; they are also designed with special safety features such as short-circuit resistance and protection against inverse polarity.

The digital output and input of the EPP2339-0022 module box are supplied from the supply voltage, if the device is on and the required supply voltage is not received, a fault is detected. On expiration of the fault reaction time, the fault is reported in the process data. All output channels in which this fault has occurred are automatically disabled. The total weight of the EPP2339-0022 Module box is approximately 250 grams.
