Product Description:

The EPP2338-0001 is a special digital EtherCAT P Box that is equipped with eight digital channels which are all designed to function as either an input or output interface without the need for any configuration operation. Each of these input/output connections are M8 sockets that require 3-pin A coded connectors. They also feature a 10 microsecond filter which helps to reduce electrical interference at the connectors. The input circuit on this product has been permanently connected to the output driver internally so that a set output is automatically displayed in the input process image. During operation, the output channels can process load currents as high as 0.5 amperes, they also have the added advantage of being short-circuit proof, and being protected against inverse current polarity. The total sum of the current of all outputs on this product is about 3 amperes.

The EPP2338-0001 EtherCAT P box allows for a variable mounting position, however two fasting holds with a diameter of 3.5 milliamperes are required for the installation process. Without the connectors, the approximate height of this product is 126 millimeters, it also has a width 30 millimeters and a thickness of 26.5 millimeters. The housing of this product is made from polyamide materials and sealed with polyurethane compound. Also, this housing falls under the IP67 protection rating.

The EPP2338-0001 is packaged into a recyclable cardboard box that maintains the recommended ambient storage temperature range which is between -40 to +85 degree Celsius. Each delivery package features an identification label that contain information about the product. The recommended ambient temperature range to maintain optimum performance of this product is between -25 to about 60 degree Celsius. The product also carries the CE and UL approval markings.
