The EPP2328-0001 is an I/O box module manufactured by Beckhoff within the EPP EtherCAT P Box Modules series. It attaches directly to an EtherCAT P trunk line so that communication and 24 V DC supply share one cable. This arrangement allows the unit to acquire four digital sensor signals and switch four actuator channels inside distributed machine controls. Its decentralized format supports mounting close to field devices, which helps shorten wiring runs on moving or space-limited equipment.

The input side terminates on 4 x M8 sockets, giving the module exactly 4 digital inputs.
