The EPP2318-0001 is a digital I/O box produced by Beckhoff and offered within the EPP EtherCAT P Box Modules series. Cabling between modules can span 30 m without additional supply feeds, giving machine builders generous routing freedom. Each output channel can source 0.5 A per channel, while a short-circuit threshold of 1.5 A protects upstream supplies. Output energization occurs after a 50 µs delay, and release follows 100 µs, supporting deterministic timing in material-handling sequences. The enclosure is molded from PA6 (polyamide) for chemical resistance and vibration tolerance. The logic supply remains aligned with other Beckhoff boxes, and overall signal integrity is supported by the specified switching times and shielded M8 connectors.
