Product Description:
The Beckhoff EL6900-0000-0000 is a specific EtherCAT terminal that is meant for safety applications and is used as a bridge between safe input signals and safe output signals. It is a member of the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series and is TwinSAFE allowing for safety over the EtherCAT system’s safety BS6750 functions. This terminal is horizontally mounted and is attached to 35 mm DIN rails compliant with EN 60715.
The current consumption through the E-bus at 188 mA is cost-effective in EL6900-0000. It comes inside a polycarbonate enclosure which is relatively small at just below 50 grams. Further, its size of 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm integration is made easy for fixed control and operations within the control cabinets.
