The KL9050 K-bus extension crafted by Beckhoff operates like the extension of a terminal bus. This bus extension is used in place of a bus coupler on a bus terminal block. The product portrays a maximum of 5 m. distance between two terminal blocks. This device is placed at the beginning of the extension station on the associated mounting rail. The unit and its preceding bus terminal block are connected through a RJ 45 socket using a K-bus extension cable. It has a Run LED and an Err LED on its housing. This bus extensions function can be selected using a correctly positioned selector switch.
