The EL9410-0018 is a Beckhoff terminal module in the EL EtherCAT Terminals series. It is used in control cabinets to distribute 24 VDC supply power to adjacent I/O stations while simultaneously returning status data to the PLC. The module maintains a stable logic and load-voltage segment inside industrial automation lines, linking the upstream power source to downstream terminals through a dedicated power contact and sending diagnostic information over the EtherCAT bus.

The terminal accepts an input of 24 VDC and can forward up to 10 A on its power contact, allowing actuators or sensors on the same string to draw load current without separate wiring. The internal E-bus feed is limited to 2 A, so logic electronics stay protected from high-current transients. With a process image width of 2 bits, the controller receives clear on and off flags for operating and error states that originate from the LED and process-image diagnostic interface. When the supply falls below 17 V, the undervoltage threshold triggers one of those bits, enabling an immediate reaction in the control program.
