The EL9227-6600 EtherCAT terminal operates as a two-channel overcurrent protection design for 24 V DC voltage systems. It provides a rated current adjustment feature that aids in allowing current settings between 1 A and 4 A in clear 1 A increments for flexible load adaptation. It is built within the module as a fail-safe element rated at 6 A (T) by ensuring circuit interruption at the specified limit for added safety during fault conditions. It also includes an advance warning function for low-voltage detection which can be configured between 17 V DC and 24 Volts DC. The reverse polarity switch-off process enhances its protective behavior by preventing problems when opposite switching is applied.
