The EL9181 is a stable multi-channel analog voltage input terminal with eight single-ended input channels. Each of these channels accepts analog voltage signals in the range of 0 to 10 V. When multiple signals are to be sampled at the same time, this proves to be useful and thus is used in measurement and monitoring. Input resolution is 16-bit signed integer to provide an accurate and precise representation of the signal over the entire voltage range.

This level of precision is ideal for applications that require precise voltage tracking and regulation. The terminal has simple integration capability into EtherCAT networks, such as high-speed and synchronized communication in distributed I/O architectures. One of the most convenient features is the native timestamp feature, which allows time-synchronous processing and logging of the input data. This is especially useful in applications where precise time correlation of measurement is needed, like data acquisition systems or synchronized process control.
