Lightweight and small, the Beckhoff EL9011-0000 comes with protective elements from the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series. The device weighs only 8g, has a housing width of 5mm, and is intended to secure an E-Bus contact at the terminal block end making it very useful in protecting E-bus contacts and reliable in ensuring the E-bus termination system does not fail.
This terminal has been found to work optimally in environments with temperatures ranging from -25°C to +60°C and can be archived in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C thus it is appropriate for a range of factories. Its attachment to other terminals is done alternatively to EtherCAT terminals with and without power contacts enabling good adaptation to the existing setup. The EL9011-0000 is compatible with many standards and carries the CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx certificates. Another Ex-markings are II 3 G Ex ec IIC T4 Gc for a hazardous environment zone utilization. This certification confirms that the device is intended for use in Zone 2 where there is a potential ignition gas.
