The EL6731-1006 is a PROFIBUS master terminal produced by Beckhoff within the EL EtherCAT Terminals series. It bridges EtherCAT I/O nodes to PROFIBUS devices on the same rail, so the control platform can exchange cyclic and acyclic data with downstream field equipment through the EtherCAT backplane.
