The EL6731 is a stable and compact type Ethercat Terminal designed for industrial networking applications. It also supports the PROFIBUS DP, DP-V1, DP-V2 and PROFIBUS MC Protocols, which makes it suitable for different applications. It has only one fieldbus channel, and the fieldbus supports PROFIBUS DP, PROFIBUS DP-V1, DP-V2, and PROFIBUS MC. This interface supports the transmission of data and an optional power supply through a single connection, which simplifies integration processes. The EL6731 has features such as status LEDs for the hardware, which are very useful for detecting connection or data problems. The bus device supports 125 slaves and has a storage capacity of 244 bytes.

During the operation, the EL6731 draws a current of up to 200 mA from the E-bus. This current consumption indicates that the terminal is highly energy optimized and can be used in other large systems.
