Representing the famous EL EtherCAT Terminals product range, the model number EL6711-0010 is produced by the Beckhoff to easily integrates with the machine’s other components for fieldbus bridging. It supports up to 124 terminals which accommodates large I/O configurations. It operates within an ambient temperature from 0°C to 55°C, guaranteeing high performance on the production floor. In addition, it can also tolerate permitted storage temperature values from -25 °C … +85 °C to guard the unit during transport and warehouse adjustments.
It draws 24 V DC ±20 % from the E-bus just to align with standard automation power rails. It also consumes typically 45 mA at the power contacts which minimizes overall bus loading. It mounts on DIN rail which speeds installation and removal without additional brackets. The gadget spans 12 mm × 100 mm × 68 mm which fits compact control panels. This terminal variant interfaces as a PROFIBUS DP-V1 slave to links with other EtherCAT and PROFIBUS networks.
