The EL6070-1814 is an EtherCAT terminal produced by Beckhoff in the EL EtherCAT Terminals series. Designed for distributed I/O lines, the unit combines data buffering with fieldbus routing so that a controller can retain parameters inside the terminal while still passing power and signals along the bus. Within an automation cabinet, it occupies one slot and interacts with neighboring modules exclusively through the integrated E-Bus contacts. Because adjacent terminals couple through the backplane instead of external jumpers, the assembly remains compact and the signal path between modules stays direct.

Its physical profile has a width of 12 mm, a height of 100 mm, and a depth of 68 mm, allowing dense side-by-side placement on terminal rows.
