Product Description:
The Beckhoff EL6070-1648 is an EtherCAT terminal device with the primary function of managing and distributing license information across EtherCAT networks. Designed to be one of the most compact among the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series, the terminal is well integrated into the automations systems without sacrificing performance and reliability. The terminal has a weight of about 50g and an IP20 rating which accords the terminal the abilities of only working in controlled environments.
The terminal is powered through the E-bus with current draw of 120mA and is designed to accept 360 degrees of installation position. The operating temperature of the terminal is from -25 degrees centigrade to +60 degrees with the storage temperature dropping as low as -40 degrees. The physically robust design of the product guarantees compliance with EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards for vibration and shock, thus making it useful for harsh industrial operations.
Operation of the EL6070-1648 is compliant to EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4 pertaining immunity and emission of electromagnetic radiations which allows it to function stably in a noisy environment. Available ATEX (II 3 G Ex ec IIC T4 Gc), IECEx and cFMus Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D approvals, the product is suitable for Zone 2 hazardous areas.
