Product Description:

The Beckhoff EL6070-1623 is a small form factor EtherCAT terminal that is used for the purpose of transmitting licensing information through EtherCAT network. As a member of EL EtherCAT Terminal Series, it can be complimented with a small dimension containing signal LEDs that optic l signal feedback for status monitoring. With a mass of 50 grams and volume of 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm, it is built for easy attachment in an industrial control system.

The E-bus powers the device and it operates with a typical current extension of 120 mA. Being IP 20 rated, this device is only suitable for clean and controlled environments. This device is versatile as it can be mounted on 35mm diameter DIN rails as per the EN 60715 standard and has a locking mechanism that maintains stability of the device during operation.

This terminal operates in a temperature range of -25 degree centigrade to 60 degree centigrade while it is -40 degree centigrade to +85 degree centigrade when stored. It is tested for vibration and shock impact as per the EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards which prove its operational integrity in industrial conditions. In addition, the terminal also meets the EN 61000-6-2 and 61000-6-4 standard concerning electromagnetic immunity and emission. The EL6070-1623 has been certified to the CE, UL, ATEX, IECEx, cFMus standards confirming the terminals’ ability for application in a hazardous environment. This device is suitable for ATEX Zone 2 (II 3 G Ex ec IIC T4 Gc) and cFMus Class I, Division 2 applications and can be used in environments that have gas hazards.
