The Beckhoff EL6002 belongs to the EL EtherCAT Terminals. It lets users connect multiple serial devices to EtherCAT at high-performance speeds through the RS232 protocol.

This I/O device combines two operating RS232 channels in a small, reliable format to connect with two devices simultaneously. With multiple setup options, this terminal connects serial devices to automation systems in many applications.
