The EL5102 is an EtherCAT Terminal ideal for use in applying differential analog input functions. The terminal consists of two independent input channels that can store single-ended as well as differential signals, thus providing wiring flexibility as well as signal acquisition. The terminal can handle voltage levels of ±10 V, and it is therefore very versatile in being used with almost any form of analog measurement function.

Its 25-microsecond switching time between channels allows for rapid acquisition of signals, which can be accommodated in time-driven applications. The link offers precise signals in both input modes. Ut doesn't sacrifice accuracy or responsiveness of the system. All the input channels feature an LED indicator for visual signaling of signal activity and connection. The LEDs make the use convenient and help with troubleshooting during installation and operation. The terminal is equipped with an input filter having a 3 kHz limit frequency that eliminates high-frequency noise and provides cleaner signal processing. It provides stable operation even in cases of electrical interference. Its small footprint and full compatibility with EtherCAT networks enable the transmission of fast data communication across distributed systems. The EL5102 fits perfectly with the use of application where stability in accuracy and instant feedback are crucial, i.e., in measurement systems, control loops, and monitoring systems.
