The Beckhoff EL4004-0000 is the unit of output which consists of 4 channels which comes from the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series. It provides a high USB 2.0 voltage control output which measures 0-10 V range and thus suitable for volt-imprecise systems. The terminal has an accuracy of 12 bits which makes him ideal for typical applications that require reliable voltage outputs.
The terminal works on a supply voltage of 24 V DC and draws 40mA from contacts and 140mA from E-Bus respectively. Each output can drive loads of more than 5 kilohm and in case of short circuit protection is available to ensure that the system operates safely and risk of any kind is eliminated. The output error is reported to be less than 0.1% with self-explanatory VCC output levels which are in relation to the set point. The cut out time of approximately 250 microseconds which gives a quick response in real time control applications.
